Kalamba Games

Kalamba Games is an online casino software provider that has built a small collection of slots. Since their foundation in 2016, the company has slowly grown both their team and their game selection forming partnerships that have helped them get their software out to as many sites and players as possible.

Kalamba has built their studio from the ground up with an experienced team that strives to stick to particular principles. Their goal is to build innovative and engaging slot machines, while developing rewarding long-term partnerships that will get their offerings out to online gambling sites. Though the company hasn’t built a huge library of titles just yet, their early offerings are interesting and entertaining additions to any casino.

Striving to be the Greatest

Kalamba Games is an international online casino software developer that is based out of both Malta and Krakow, Poland. The company was founded in 2016 by two men with extensive experience in the gaming industry. CEO Steve Cutler has previously served as the COO of GameDesire and Head of Poker for Unibet, while COO Alex Cohen was the Head of Game Design at Quickspin and a senior game designer for IGT. It’s also worth mentioning that they have the financial backing of Vereeni & RB Capital.

A small private firm with less than 50 employees in total, Kalamba – which means “greatest” – has built their team by finding experienced gamers who can help them create next generation games. To make their slots as appealing to both operators and players alike, one of their biggest selling points is their ability to increase engagement through their machines. This is done not only by creating entertaining content, but also by integrating promotional features directly into their games.

One of the most important partnerships developed by Kalamba so far is their agreement with ORYX Gaming. That deal, signed in May 2017, will see Kalamba Games provide titles for the ORYX Gaming platform, which aggregates content from a number of small, independent software providers to feature Arcadem slots, Golden Hero slots, and more. The agreement has helped Kalamba overcome one of the biggest obstacles for a new studio: finding a distribution network that can immediately get their games in front of players so that they can start developing a reputation. The studio recently joined forces with Relax Gaming Group as well, aiming to provide a wide variety of games via several operators and Silverbullet platform.
